NarmourWright’s Managing Principal, Tom Wright, will be participating in the World Vision fundraising initiative “Hood-to-Coast” 24-hour, 198-mile relay race, this month on August 25-26 in Portland, Oregon. Every dollar raised goes directly to bringing clean water to Lietnhom and other villages and communities in the war-ravaged and famine-inflicted nation of South Sudan.
Tom and his wife, Joan, began traveling to Central Africa more than eight years ago. Since then, they have made multiple trips hoping to learn and support a part of the world plagued by civil war, tribal conflict and ineffective leadership.
Tom was invited to participate in the World Vision fundraising initiative by a good friend of his, Steve Haas. Steve is the Chief Catalyst for World Vision, which is the largest Christian relief organization in the world. World Vision partners with children, families, and their communities to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.
The NarmourWright team wishes Tom success in his upcoming Hood-to-Coast Relay Race! If you would like to support this effort you can Donate Here.
