At NarmourWright we believe that it’s vital to provide continuing education opportunities for our staff. This includes AIA standard lunch & learns each week that all employees are encouraged to attend. These informative sessions allow us to learn more about industry products and practices from various manufacturers therefore allowing us to keep up with the state-of-the-art products and designs we’re seeing across the country. We also conduct internal lunch & learns when a member of our staff has insight into a specific practice or has gained additional knowledge based on his/her learning experiences.
Additionally, we support our staff by advancing their knowledge through formal training classes regarding software our industry and firm uses. It is very important that we are using the latest tools available to us to stay current alongside our consultants and enables us to produce the best product for our clients.
A few weeks ago, NarmourWright ventured to TPM to learn more about REVIT. This course allowed us to improve our current skills and become more knowledgeable about the possibilities and limits of the REVIT program. The classroom setting provided a focused view on firm selected discussion / training topics. It enabled everyone to get on the same page and provide an even better standard for our firm going forward. Revit is our main tool for drawing and modeling projects; it allows us to streamline our production process.

We ended the day by celebrating our new knowledge at the Brewers at 4001 Yancey with a few beers and good food.
