Spring has sprung which means it’s time for AIA Charlotte’s Architecture Month. This year, NarmourWright will be participating AIA Charlotte’s South End Firm Crawl and CANstruction 2018.
The South End Firm Crawl invites students, peers, and the public to an open-house event at select South End firms. It allows attendees to get a behind the scenes look at each office and learn about their daily operations. So, come see us on Thursday, April 19th! You can register online here. We look forward to meeting you and showing you our office.
On Saturday, April 28th NarmourWright will be participating in CANstruction. CANstruction is a contest in which teams create unique structures using canned goods. Once the structures are finalized a panel of judges will select the winning structure. What happens to all of the cans upon completion? Cans are donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina to feed the hungry. The event begins at 11am and is being hosted by Lenny Boy Brewing. Be sure to visit our “Can Wars” creation (it won’t disappoint) and grab a drink with us on April 28th.
Curious as to what CANstruction looks like? Check out our 2017 “Make Hunger Extinct” CANstruction photo below and read about our creation in our blog.
